The 2030 Heroes Time Capsule

In 2012 the Martin Methodist Art Team decided to create a meaningful project that would somehow impact the future. They came up with the idea of asking each other who they each held in high esteem; who was their personal hero? This led to the collection of personal hero statements, written on 6”x6” pieces of origami paper. There are now over 200 of these from the Giles County community to be placed in our time capsule.

This public arts installation has utilized the participation of over 70 Art Team members and 200 community residents who submitted personal hero statements.
